Val-U-Therm®’s stand at the Expo, which was put together with its associate manufacturers Flight Timber Products Ltd, Scotframe Timber Engineering Ltd and the Walker Timber Group, was visited by thousands of interested construction professionals over the two-day event.
A model on the stand demonstrated the three main configurations of the Val-U-Therm® system – wall panels, floor panels and roof panels. The Val-U-Therm® team also introduced visitors to a special fire-resistant version of Val-U-Therm® that has been independently tested by UKTFA/Chiltern Fire/HSE and achieved the best Category C result.
Val-U-Therm® Managing Director Bryan Woodley said “The competition at the Expo was fierce as there were a broad range of high-performance build systems for the judges to choose from.
"I am very pleased that our message – that Val-U-Therm® delivers exceptional thermal performance and environmental sustainability credentials in a cost-effective package – is getting through loud and clear.”
Bob Edwards, Scotframe Managing Director, said: "This award at the Expo - a prestigious event which showcases the technological advances in the industry - is recognition that Val-U-Therm® is head and shoulders above its competitors.
"These carefully-crafted panels will make a significant contribution to the construction industry and will help reduce CO2 emissions whilst creating more energy efficient homes and commercial properties both now and in the future.”
Bryan Woodley and his team found that interest was particularly high from the commercial, housing, retail and education sectors where long-term cost savings are a priority.
