COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS – SCOTFRAME UPDATE – 30th April 2020

Firstly, I hope this update continues to find all of our customers, suppliers and partners healthy and in good spirits during these difficult times.

Despite the current restrictions the Scotframe team have not been idle! We have a dedicated team working from home to support sales, estimating, design, planning and finance queries – and I hope you have seen minimal, if any, disruption to our service across these activities.

As previously communicated, in line with Scottish Government advice, we closed our operating sites, offices and showrooms on 24th March 2020 – ceasing all manufacture and deliveries. Since then we have been working hard to establish all of the safety measures and procedures that we will implement ready for our restart. Our team’s health is our primary concern, and we have prepared and tested new processes, distancing measures, and have additional PPE in place. We are confident that we look after our team, and deliver the homes that are needed.

Please be assured that when we do restart our manufacturing operation, we will only do so in a safe and controlled way to ensure maximum protection to our employees and to those we interact with on site.

We continue to monitor government advice and will update again as soon as we have confirmation of the restart of the construction industry in Scotland. However, to provide some timeframe, we are working on the assumption that our manufacturing and distribution operations will recommence around the 18th May 2020 – we will of course communicate any changes to this timeframe.

As mentioned above, members of our sales, estimating, design, planning and finance teams continue to work. Any enquiries can be sent by email to our central [email protected] email address and we will respond from there.

The whole Scotframe team looks forward to helping you build your dream home, and we wish you and your families the very best of health.

Ian Winroth
Managing Director Scotframe
